
Jon Sockness had his beginnings in construction during his teen years. Working with his father, he began to develop his craft at an early age. By the year 1985, Jon had the experience he needed to start his own business. At this time, Sockness Builders was born. In the year 1994, Sockness Builders became incorporated and had created a solid reputation for itself in the Southern Wisconsin area. Just recently, the company has moved to 133 First Street in Milton, WI where it offers a showroom and office to its clients.
Throughout his career as a custom homebuilder, Jon Sockness has made it a point to be an active member in the community and also in the building industry. Jon has volunteered his time as a softball and basketball coach for more than 15 years. Since 1992, Jon has been an active member of the South Central Wisconsin Builders Association. In his time as a member, he has held many executive positions ranging from President in 1997 to the Parade of Homes Chairman. The Sockness Builders, Inc. reputation in the building industry has also won many distinctive Parade of Homes awards including the People's Choice Award, Best Floor Plan, and Builder of the Year.
